Event Log Sync Agent

The Event Log Sync Application is a command line application that pulls information from the SurePassID Event Log (Audit Trail) down to your local system. Event Log Sync only pulls down specific events that your SurePassID account is configured for. This allows you to only pull down a subset of information (such as errors only) and not the entire event log. The Event Sync application (EventLogSync.exe) is located in the SurePassID Local Agent\Event Log Sync folder.

Evemt Log Sync Syntax

EventLogSync -ln=loginname -lp=loginpassword
 
where
 
loginname:   is your SurePassID account login name
loginpassword: is you SurePassID account login name

The Event Log Sync Application by default uses https for transport security. If you need a greater level of security, please contact SurePassID technical support and we can assist in setting up message level security using X509 certificates.

When the Event Log Sync runs, it logs its own operation in the Event Log, providing the final status of the operation.
